Beginning in the 2027 FRC Season, Team 422 will be competing alongside a rookie team: Team 477! This rookie team is designed to give new team members hands-on experience with designing, building, wiring, programming, and testing their own robot.
The primary aim of Team 477 is to give rookie team members the skills necessary to become productive members of Team 422, both in how to design and build a robot as well as how to perform well at competitions. No prior experience is required!
Students on Team 477 will compete in two FCH district events alongside their Team 422 counterparts, and will graduate to team 422 after roughly 1 year of experience.
